“No”, is normally the more comfortable word to say when it’s hard to break out of your comfort zone. However, the more you say yes, the easier it will get, and saying yes more can really impact your life in several positive ways. Here are 5 easy squeezy, lemon peasy reasons you should consider saying yes:
1. TRY NEW THINGS
We often get stuck in our comfort zone, over schedule ourselves, and get into a routine. This can make it harder on us to be open to trying new things. Trying new things can feel uncomfortable at first, like the first time your getting ready to ride a roller coaster, but once you feel the rush of it, you want to do it again, and again. Something new I have been doing lately is trying more things with zero sugar. Since it’s summer, that means staying hydrated and ya’ll know how hard it is for me to make sure I’m drinking water. With vitaminwater zero, I get more flavors like (vitaminwater zero squeezed lemonade) and less excuses. Say yes, and grab life by the bottles…which leads into reason number two.
2. NO REGRETS
Regret is one of the worst feelings to have, because we can’t go back in time and re-make decisions, or change things. Sometimes we get lucky and get a second chance, but more often than not chances will pass us by. There is a saying about how life and luck favor the bold. Life is short, so don’t be afraid to say yes, which leads us into number three.
3. BE MORE BRAVE
Often we let our fears, instead of our dreams and instinct guide us, and give a more rational “No”. Also, when you surround yourself with other people who say “no”, they love to convince you why it was right for a list of reasons. Be brave and take your life by the reins by saying yes more. Now this can mean we may have to say no to the nay-sayers and the negative people. This is not about feeling pressured to do things we don’t want to do, but about having the courage to do the things we really want to do, even when they scare us.
4. LIVE LIFE INTERESTINGLY
Live life to the fullest and you only live once, are the two things I like to think about whenever I am deciding on whether to do something. This is the positive outlook I try and take when it means trying a new food, or whether or not I should take a day off work to go on a trip with my friends. At the end of the day, I want to live an interesting life and not get stuck in a rut. This leads into something I created for myself…a bucket list.
5. BUCKET LIST
Just in case there are some of you who aren’t sure what a bucket list is…it’s a list of things you want to complete during your lifetime. Or, things you want to complete by a certain date. I don’t have a specific deadline for my bucket list, but I probably wouldn’t complete half of them, if I said no too often. I’m trying to take every opportunity that I’m given and even be more spontaneous so that I can complete things like a girls trip to Miami, getting married in Italy, and visiting wine country in California. Do you have a bucket list for yourself?
How about knocking a custom vitaminwater bottle label off your bucket list!! YOU have a chance to win the “Label Me A Winner” contest, and have a label you designed on display in store. It’s super easy…just follow these steps:
And in the mean time if your feeling thirsty, why not say yes to a long romantic walk down every aisle at Target and pick up your favorite flavor of vitaminwater. I’m loving the vitaminwater zero squeezed lemonade and power-c!
Let me know in the comments below, have you tried saying yes more often?

Saying Yes more often is definitely something I need to do more of! Especially since moving to a new area it’s intimidating to try new things, but this has motivated me to start!

YES! I stopped holding back and started saying “yes” more often late last year.I realized once I opened up with more “yes” that the opportunities opened up too. It’s exciting, scary, and new, but it’s a great feeling.
p.s. on the photos: I love the butterfly mural, especially the photos of you “on” the swinging bench!
