[…] in Florence we stayed at The Four Seasons, which I talked about in my last post about the private gardens. This hotel was gorgeous and at the high end of what you would pay per night for a hotel in […]
So I’m finally home from Italy and we are knees deep in house unpacking/remodeling, since we moved just a few days before we left. I just wanted to update everyone really quick about the first day of our trip and share a bit about the fabulous hotel we stayed at in Florence. If you ever get to Florence, the best luxurious hotel to stay at is the Four Seasons Firenze. It’s insanely beautiful and holds the largest private garden in Florence.
We took an overnight flight from Orlando to Frankfurt on Thursday evening and after almost missing our connecting flight to Florence, but we made it to Italy on Friday at about 2 pm. Drivers then picked us up from the airport and took us to the Four Seasons Firenze to check in. Everything was magical as we walked in the door. The hotel is like a museum with glass cases of different designer items and walls/ceilings decorated with artwork. We didn’t even get a chance to explore the hotel, but I did find some good pictures of our room to share with you, plus we were able to explore the gardens and take some pictures there before heading off to dinner.
FOUR SEASONS FIRENZE PRIVATE GARDENS
Over the next week, or so, I will be sharing not only a Tuscany travel guide to the Montalcino area, but one for Florence as well in case anyone is looking for any suggestions when traveling!
Cheers to the weekend!!

The Four Seasons is certainly one of my favorite hotel chains. I have stayed in MANY including 2 in Turkey and they were definitely my favorite hotels. My husband surprised with a Four Seasons for our honeymoon as well and that did NOT disappoint ONE BIT! 🙂
