Happy Tuesday Shoesday Fashionistas!! Today I wanted to talk about being smart about our purchases. I am a huge fan of dupes and shopping around. They say that someone needs to see something three times and love it before purchasing. I would have to agree, but I also think it’s best to shop around and find the item you are searching for in three different places before purchasing. This way you are knowing if you are getting the best deal. Whenever I link items on the blog, you can be assured you are getting the best deal because I always search before linking products here. Sometimes I even link it from multiple sites. I also try to always link a dupe for any higher priced items that I have purchased. My favorite purchase recently has been this dupe for Chloe espadrilles.
I am also obsessed with a great pair of fitting denim and these J Brand jeans are my go to pair. I have linked some pairs of J Brand on sale at Nordstrom. I normally buy higher priced brand jeans because they really last and fit your body well. With the right pair of jeans you can take on the world right??
When it comes to trendy tops, I like to shop at Forever 21. This peasant blouse I got for less than $20. It’s sold out now, but I linked some similar options all less than $23. You can never go wrong with a white top because its neutral and can be worn with pretty much any bottoms.
My sunglasses are everywhere right now haha. I originally purchased my pair from Goodnight Macaroon. However, there are companies selling them for a much better price, so I linked those ones for you instead!
Leopard is totally a neutral and is a pattern that I feel like can add that perfect pop, or be paired with other patterns. I got this awesome purse by Vince Camuto during last year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but I linked some awesome bags under $50.
DUPE CHLOE ESPADRILLES
I have a few different designer inspired pieces for you within different price ranges and from three different brands. The dupe pair that I have are by Steve Madden and I purchased them at DSW for just under $60 which is about 10% of the cost of Chloe’s. They are even in Rose Gold now!!! I want those ones so bad lol. JustFab makes an awesome pair too called the Macey Wedge, which my friend Laila has and you can see those on her post here. Marc Fisher makes a nice pair too but those are $100 more than the Steve Madden ones, so it just depends on your budget.
I hope you enjoyed this style tip for fashion & finance! Cheers to having an awesome week.
