Bible Study Tools
Spending time in God’s Word is essential for growing in faith, and having the right Bible study tools makes the process even more enriching. Here are some of my favorites:
-
ESV Study Bible
This Bible has been my go-to for in-depth study. It includes commentary on difficult passages, historical context, and cross-references that make it easier to understand Scripture. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to dive deeper into their Bible reading. - NIV Radiant Virtues Bible
Faith, hope, and love are the virtues at the heart of this bible. Explore each virtue with a 52-week guide to map out your year of encouragement and discovery. Verses are highlighted based on whether they have a focus on the three virtues from 1 Corinthians to help you see these themes through God’s word. -
Bible Apps: YouVersion
If you’re looking for a digital Bible, this app is one of my favorites. YouVersion offers a variety of translations, reading plans, and devotionals to help you engage with Scripture no matter where you are. It’s been a great faith based resource for my daily reading and study. -
Commentary Series: Enduring Word
For deeper study, I highly recommend the Enduring Word commentaries. They offer insights into Bible verses and chapters, providing historical, cultural, and theological explanations that really help bring passages to life.
Devotionals & Christian Books
Devotional books are a great way to focus on specific themes of faith, grow in your walk with God, and stay encouraged each day. These are some of my favorite devotional faith based books that have truly made a difference:
-
The Illustrated Words of Jesus
This daily devotional is filled with gospel-centered truths that are paired with a coordinated illustrated graphic ready for you to color. -
The Well Watered Woman
A refreshing devotional that helps women grow in their faith, stay rooted in God’s Word, and find purpose and peace in every season. -
Margo + Co Word Search Books
The Margot + Co Word Search Devotional series—Presence, Hope, and Becoming—offer a creative and calming way to connect with God. Each book pairs meaningful devotionals with themed word searches, inviting you to slow down, reflect on Scripture, and grow in faith through every season. - Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers
This book follows Angel, a woman trapped in a life of abuse and sin, who finds redemption through the relentless love of Michael Hosea. Prepare to have some tissues on hand, as this book truly reminded me of God’s love for all of us and how we are never too far gone to be saved. I read this faith base book at a time in my life when I needed its message most, and it deeply impacted my understanding of grace and unconditional love.
Prayer Journals & Tools
Journaling and prayer are key elements in my spiritual growth. These tools have helped me stay focused and intentional in my prayer life:
-
Prayer Journal
This journal has been an essential part of my quiet time. It has spaces for daily reflections, prayer requests, gratitude lists, and Scripture writing. Writing down my prayers helps me process my thoughts and stay connected to God. -
Pour out Your Heart Prayer Journal
This journal is all about being intentional with your prayer life. It offers guided prompts and encourages you to be specific in your prayers, helping you track answered prayers and see God’s faithfulness over time. -
Prayer Prompts
Sometimes I need a little help knowing where to start with my prayers, and prayer prompts have been a great way to guide me. These cards give you specific prayer points that are easy to follow and can help deepen your time in prayer. - Highlighters, Pens & Bible Tabs
When it comes to Bible study, having the right tools can make all the difference. That’s why I’ve been using Mr. Pen highlighters, pens, and tabs for my Bible journaling and study. Not only do these products offer exceptional quality and smooth writing, but they also bring a beautiful aesthetic to my quiet time with God. Their vibrant highlighters and smooth pens help me underline, mark, and reflect on verses in a way that feels intentional and inspiring. Plus, the tabs are a game-changer for easily navigating through Scripture.
