- Funny story about this day. My boyfriend and I decided to take the kids to the park for the afternoon to get out of the house and I thought it would be the perfect spot to shoot some blog pics. While the kids ran around like ninjas, or played Pokémon Go my boyfriend could slave away with the camera hehe. However, the weather had other plans. We only got a few pictures snapped before the winds really started picking up and we could tell it was about to pour, so as Blake was checking the camera really quick to make sure the pictures were alright a giant tree limb fell at least 2o feet and broke right on Blake’s shoulder. Wowzer!!! Lets just say the rest of the weekend were full of rest and recuperating for him and he couldn’t play golf for 2 weeks poor guy. The things he goes through to help me with my blog; he is such a trooper. But all in all parks are still a great place to take photos while entertaining the kiddos.
- Blush is such a great color year round, therefore I love incorporating it into my fall looks and it’s my favorite color. I am so in love with this soft drapey blush tank from Socialite. I paired an eyelash lace bralette with the tank for some subtle sexy decoration. Unfortunately this exact tank has already sold out, but I have linked some similar options, like this one, and this one, that I am also really loving, including this dress which is just like the tank top.
- My new Valentino Rockstud Pumps were the perfect neutral pair to go with this simple top. If you don’t own a pair of neutral RockStud Pumps, then I really suggest you get a pair though they don’t need to be Valentino if that’s not within your budget. It took me quite a while to pull the trigger on these bad boys, but here are three really awesome dupes that are way more affordable!!! The BCBG Darron Pump, Kaitlyn Pan on Amazon, and the Sole Society Tiaa Pump. These shoes can be dressed up, or dressed down and are super comfy.
- So lately I have been having some major break out problems. I have purchased the Clarisonic Mia 2 and some acne brush heads, which I use 3X a week. I also cleanse with a mild cleanser by Cetephil, tone with Mario Badescu, and use a light weight oil free moisturizer by Formula 10.06. I have tried a few different products by Mario Badescu (Drying Mask, Enzyme Cleansing Gel, and Buffering Lotion). Plus, I have been wearing less makeup in order to let my face get some rest, but they still keep popping up around my chin area, which I’m told is hormonal. Has anyone had the same problem and has any suggestions for me? I would love to hear from anyone with similar problems and your results.
- One of my favorite things about fall is all of my lovely shows starting up for their new season!!! Here are a few of the shows that I will be watching that started this month, or will be starting next month: Scream Queens, Jane the Virgin, Timeless, Law & Order: SVU, and Vampire Diaries. Plus Gilmore Girls Revival comes out in November YAY!!!!
