Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. We are quickly approaching the beginning of summer, which means beach trips and days by the pool. When I think of what I want to wear for these summer time occasions, I think of cute, yet comfortable beach dresses, or cover ups. Therefore, I decided to round up my 6 favorite beach cover ups, in case you too were looking for a little poolside inspiration.

When I look for a cover up, I want something that I can not only wear to the pool, or beach, but also will look presentable out and about as well. I love light fabrics, fun designs, and nothing too tight because this is about comfort right? These 6 below are the perfect variety and all under $20 because why over spend on an item for just one season?!
Open Back Pom Pom Cover Up – This is the beachiest out of the 6 cover ups. However, it is still long enough to be a dress over a swim suit and at a casual beach side restaurant would be an appropriate outfit.
Pom Pom Off the Shoulder Dress – As you can tell, I am loving pom poms and so is summer. This off the shoulder dress is light weight, roomy, and can be worn when not at the beach as well.
Tassel Trim Shift Dress – I love bright colors paired with white. I feel like they really pop, and its such an island beachy vibe. This tassel shift dress is a great beach dress, or poolside cover up.
Palm Print Shift Dress – Palm print is everywhere right now and I need to get some of this in my closet. I ordered a really cute wrap skirt for the beach in a similar palm pattern. This dress would make a great light weight cover up and could double as a great date night summer dress with heels.
Tropical Leaf Tie Dress – This totally reminds me of a Trina Turk type cover up. I love the belted design to give a bit more shape. This tropical print screams summer time to me and could also double as a dress for an evening out at the beach.
Off the Shoulder Tropical Print Dress – Again, some more off the shoulder vibes. I seriously love this look way more than showing off cleavage. The island print and the tie sleeves give it something extra that will make your beach look much more colorful and fun.

I love this post as I was out, yesterday, on the hunt for a cover-up. I like to have long sleeves so Im glad to see there are few choices.
Summer really has snuck up on me school will be done in 4 weeks, oh my. Those cover ups are great I love the tassels and pom poms on those two.

These are all so cute. I think my favorite are the ones with pom-poms and tassels.
I really love the first cover-up. An open back is so unique. Of course, with my pale skin, I would need a gallon of sunscreen to ensure I don’t get burned. My favorite kind of beach coverup is one that is comfy, trendy and still protects as much of my skin as possible.
