I hope everyone isn’t having too hard of a day back at the office after our holiday! I work a 9-5 in addition to blogging and sometimes I feel like its hard to be able to dress fashionably at the office, still have it be affordable, and translate into an outfit for an evening out. I wanted to share this combination of stripes and pleats from Romwe that is so affordable and stylish. This look will have you office ready and in one quick item change, you can take it from work to drinks.
WORKWEAR WEDNESDAY
I was still feeling the 4th of July vibes, so I thought the Navy stripe top would pair wonderfully with these white pleated pants. Pleated culottes are very on trend right now, but as with most trendy pieces I purchase, I don’t want to spend much because you don’t know how long it will be in style. These pants were only $18.99 and the one shoulder striped top was under $20! How often do you find a chic outfit that can be worn to work and after for under $40!! I am so happy that I can even shop for my office wardrobe at Romwe. Now one word of warning…the fabric on these pieces are a bit sheer hence why I paired the blazer over the top for the office, and I wear a slip under the pants, which I linked below.
AT THE OFFICE
Pair the striped top and pleated pants with a blazer to cover up that shoulder. Having your hair up gives it a more professional look and a nude lip keeps things subtle for the office. I use a large purse at the office because I normally have a lot of things to tote around including my lunch.
TRANSITION TO EVENING OUT
All you need to do is whip off that blazer, let down your hair, take your clutch out of your tote and throw on a red lip. Now you are ready for a date, drinks with your girls, or a night out on the town! How simple was that??

What is your office dress code like? Do you have to dress business professional, or are you able to dress casually?
