Happy Friday Fashionistas!! I wore this adorable flamingo romper to my first blogger conference last weekend. I wanted to share not only the details of this romper, which is under $20, but also everything I did and learned at BlogHer17!
OOTD FLAMINGO ROMPER
There are so many fun details on this romper and it totally matched the BlogHer theme of flamingos and pineapples. If you know anything about me, then you know that flamingos are my jam!! Give me anything with flamingos all over them and that’s winning in my book! It was such a hot day here in sunny Florida, having shorts and short sleeves really saved the day!! I paired a blush lace bralette under it as well because I don’t know about you, but I always feel more secure when wearing a bra. My Seven Dial wedges that are blush and rose gold were comfortable for walking around the conference and matched the flamingos on the romper perfectly! I linked a similar pair since mine are no longer available.

BLOGHER17 AT A GLANCE
There were many different speakers at this year’s conference including Chelsea Clinton and Serena Williams. I’m sorry, but I was so distracted by everything going on at the conference (squirrel) that I don’t remember what they talked about during the Keynotes. I feel like it was very female oriented but not necessarily very tutorial oriented, so I hope I get more tips and tricks taught at the next one!

The photo booth wall was amazing and I loved the flamingos and pineapples everywhere on the decor. Spending time with my *Hermes Crew* (Laila’s Little Finds, Metanoia Living, Kreadiv Misfit, and Lucielle Salomon) was THE BEST part of the conference!! We slept 5 to a room in an awesome Delta Hotel by Marriott, since it was much less expensive and less crowded than the hotel the conference was held in. Make sure you go to a conference with the women you love and want to spend time with that way even if it just ends up being a girls trip, you will have tons of fun.

The break out session that I really learned a lot from was one on SEO by Chloe and Stephan Spencer a father/daughter duo. They gave so much detailed advice and was the best hour and a half I spent learning while at the conference. They also had an entire expo room filled with different brands that we could go learn about and make connections with. They didn’t have any brands that I felt really connected the fashion aspect of my blog, but there were a lot of great companies that I know you, my readers, would want to learn more about! It was a well rounded conference and they tried to cater to all different types of bloggers.
One of the coolest evening activities was that a group of us were able to attend an early screening of “Girls Trip” starring Regina Hall, Jada Pinkett Smith, Tiffany Haddish, and Queen Latifah. It was so hilarious and I thought I was going to fall over from laughing so hard. It was filmed in New Orleans which was pretty cool, since I just visited there recently. You NEED to go see it when it comes out in theaters July 21st.
