It’s back to school and heading towards fall, meaning that there are a lot of great sales right now! One of the items I always like to hunt for when the cooler weather is coming is a good new pair of jeans. There are so many trends when it comes to jeans, but there are a few fall denim trends that have been pretty consistent and are here to stay for a while. These are many of the denim trends you will see me wearing this fall. PLUS, I found a lot of great jeans on sale for ya’ll!...
My stay was gifted by Wyndham Orlando International Drive, but all opinions are my own. One thing I really love to do in Orlando is get out of my comfort zone. Sometimes many of us are guilty of staying in our own little bubble, not venturing too far from our homes, and visiting the same places time and time again. Every so often though, it’s really nice to be a tourist in our own towns. I don’t get over to the I-Drive & Theme Park area of Orlando too often, so I really enjoy it when I do. I...
Campaign Specific Disclosure: This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and The Coca-Cola Company. All opinions are mine alone. #Myvitaminwater #vwlabelcontest #CollectiveBias “No”, is normally the more comfortable word to say when it’s hard to break out of your comfort zone. However, the more you say yes, the easier it will get, and saying yes more can really impact your life in several positive ways. Here are 5 easy squeezy, lemon peasy reasons you should consider saying yes: 1. TRY NEW THINGS We often get stuck in our comfort zone, over schedule ourselves, and get into a...
Two weeks ago I headed down to Miami Beach for swim week with three girlfriends in order to hang out, sight see, and of course take lots of pictures! We traveled down in the new Ford Expedition, which was insanely awesome. It made the 4 hour drive so easy. My favorite features were the seats & peddles that adjust and then the seat also massages you for when your butt gets sore during a long drive. Then, there was intelligent cruise control, so that it took the guess work out of slowing down and speeding up with the traffic....
Last week we celebrated the end of Miami Swim Week in style with a beach picnic. It was a very dreamy morning spot on the end of South Beach, if only it had been cooler out! South Beach Tavern, located about a block from the beach, provided all of the food and wine. They have some amazing platters which are perfect for a picnic and for sharing. We even went back there later in the day to check out the ambiance of their bar and to try more of their delicious food. FYI every weekday they have half priced...
So, living in Florida you would think I have been to Miami right? NOPE! I have lived in Orlando for about 15 years, yet this trip to South Beach was the first time there and I loved it! It was a bit of a short planned trip when I found out two girls I knew (Nubiana & Kat) were going for swim week! I pretty much invited myself along LOL, and then after meeting Rechael after the Gal Getaway conference, I asked her to come along with us. It was such a great group of us traveling together and...
So today’s post may be a bit of a tease for some of you, perhaps you were thinking you would learn 3 new ways to tie your silk scarf, or ways to wear it around your neck. But NO! I’m going to change it up and show you 3 ways to style a silk scarf that don’t even include your neck. The reason for this is I had been scouting stores all over, looking for thin, short, silk scarves to tie my hair up into a ponytail. I happened to find quite a few on sale at White House...
Happy Saturday everyone!! I hope you are all having a great time today and I hope everyone had a great holiday this week celebrating with family and friends. I went and watched fireworks on Tuesday, which was great because it meant being able to stay out later, since the day after the 4th I had to go back to work. I decided I hadn’t done a round up post in a while and I keep getting so many compliments on my fave summer bags, including the one I wore with my 4th of July outfit! So I made a...
Have you ever had a glass of matcha tea, a matcha latte, or perhaps some kind of food item made with matcha? Well, I had a latte once that was matcha flavored, it was pretty gross, and I thought I just didn’t like matcha. Boy was I wrong!! The other week, I had the pleasure of being invited by Derek Hofmann (Four Seasons Orlando Spa Director) & Dana Berry (Four Seasons Orlando Public Relations Director), to try out a brand new spa treatment. It’s called the Mindful Matcha Spa Treatment and it’s exclusive to the Four Seasons Orlando! A...
The next stop on our Italian trip was the countryside of Tuscany. It was the perfect backdrop for our wedding and week long stay as a family. We stayed at Castiglion del Bosco which is about 5,000 acres on an 800 year old estate in Montalcino and we couldn’t wait to explore what it all had to offer, taking full advantage of the fantastic winery and activities available. The hotel was amazing because they set everything up for you, arrange drivers, tour guides, ect. So here is my guide of activities and places you don’t want to miss out in either...
