Last weekend was such an exciting experience for me! I was so blessed to help host an in store event at Vera Bradley. The event was Finance for Fashionistas and I gave out some fun financial tips for shoppers, which I will share the link for below! This was my first in store event that I was able to be a part of and I enjoyed not only learning more about Vera Bradley from the lovely ladies who work there, but also meeting some really sweet customers that came into the store.

Vera Bradley is such a colorful store that you can wear pretty much anything and feel like you match to something there. I have been currently loving coral for summer and bell sleeves are all the rage, so I paired my off the shoulder coral bell sleeve top from Goodnight Macaroon with a pair of white jeans and wedges. This outfit also went great with my Vera Bradley Straw Tote.

How cute is this cross-body bag from the fall collection that just launched as well?! This is actually their breast cancer awareness print and I think it is so awesome how Vera Bradley has their own foundation to help provide for women fighting breast cancer. You can even round up your change at the register to donate to the breast cancer foundation.

If you read my earlier post about packing tips, or follow my Instagram, then perhaps you already saw the clutch and sandals which were the items that Vera Bradley were giving away during the event and are perfect pieces to take to the pool or the beach this summer. Also, just so you know all Vera Bradley events will have some kind of sips and sweets, and these tarts and flavored sparkling water really made my day!

I really enjoyed working with the store’s manager Alyssa and her fabulous team! They are all very knowledgeable, will help you find the right product within your budget, direct you to the best sales, and be your best guide through your entire shopping experience.

Thanks to Jackie, the Assistant Manager, I was able to get my leather backpack for fashion week at a DEEPLY discounted rate because she helped me find the best deal and stacked the discounts on top of it.

I am also really, really loving the Vera Bradley jewelry collection. All of these styles are so popular right now and you can find the perfect color, or style for any person’s taste. My friend Maria purchased the three heart necklace, since she has three boys. I also am really loving the two necklaces that can be worn multiple ways, so you get more than one necklace in one and they are under $50!!

Did you know that Vera Bradley was started by two women sitting in an airport who didn’t see any feminine luggage? They went home and each borrowed $250 from their husbands, bought a bunch of fabric and started creating designs in their basement…what really cool female entrepreneurs. Those are the real girl bosses right there and back up the saying, “you can do whatever you put your mind to.”
