Did any of you know that next month, in May, is Skin Cancer Awareness Month? Due to this and summer quickly approaching for most people, in Florida it’s already in full swing haha, this is a great time to talk about protecting your skin. Most people know they should put on sunscreen when outside, however many people do not think about how you can actually wear your SPF in your clothing!! When I came across Cabana Life, which is a brand that carries swimwear that protects with SPF, I knew this is a company that people needed to know more about. I love the variety in the styles, cuts, and patterns in the swimwear and the resort wear, or cover ups. These are items you could wear on vacation, to the beach, or to the pool. The cover ups that are more like resort wear can simply be worn for an every day dress and since they feel like dri-fit material you stay pretty cool. Plus you really should be wearing SPF any time you are outside, so it doesn’t hurt having that on your body just to be outside running errands.

That swimwear is ADORABLE. I honestly had no idea they made swimwear that protects with SPF, that is great.
I grew up in Florida and lived there most of my life. Sun protection is no joke!! I was just telling my husband I want some of the swim suits like our boys have with SPF, I’ll have to look at these.
How cool! Swimwear with SPF? You’re right – it’s totally cute! I love the first suit with the strappy back. There’s so much detail in it! The halter suit is really cute too. It’s great to know a brand like this exists!

So pretty! I love the colors of the swimwear. I feel guilty about Skin Cancer Awareness Month as I started tanning. I used to tan quite often in high school but I stopped. I had a few SEVERE burns last year, even though I dumped on the sunscreen, so I decided to wean myself into a base tan before summer so I hopefully won’t burn nearly as bad!
I have purchases lots of suits for my kiddos with SPF. I had no clue I could buy the same for myself!!
