Woohooooo the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, also known as the NSale is finally open to the public. This means ANYONE, whether you are a card holder, or not, can shop the sale. Unfortunately A LOT of items sold out the first day of early access, but don’t fret, I made sure to find super similar items for anything that did. I only ended up purchasing 6 pieces during early access because I wanted just a few basics and I am still figuring out my fall color palette. I also knew there were a few items that I just HAD to have and that if I waited till fall they wouldn’t be available.

Here are the outfits that I put together with the new items I purchased during the 2019 sale and then some items that I have actually purchased from prior year sales and there are still super similar items available this year. The top trending items for Fall 2019 are jewel tones & neutrals, leopard/snake print, leather, plaid, power suits, feminine lace, fringe and still lavender rolls over from spring and summer. I chose to go with leopard, lace, plaid and neutral tones.

Wearing this blush Leith long-line cardigan in a size XS. It’s super soft and I love pink, so I will wear this a lot for fall. Even though it’s pink, it’s a light color and more on the neutral side. I paired it with the BP cami in a size XS, and the AG high waisted jeans in a size 24. The cami actually sold out, but I linked a $20 one from Socialite. My heels are from a previous sale by Steve Madden size 7.5, but I linked a similar pair by Vince Camuto.

Wearing two pieces that I am so happy I grabbed during the sale because they both sold out. I was really surprised this Leith dress (wearing an XS) sold out thinking no one would have my idea of this being a great fall staple, but I guess it was a great choice. I have so many ideas on how to wear this for fall. I linked a similar midi dress that could be worn multiple ways, for the office and the weekend.

Here is another great way to style a tank sweater midi dress when it’s not cool enough for fall outfits yet. You can even throw on a leather jacket, or pea coat over this for cool fall evenings.
