I always start off by giving my hair a good blow dry from the root to give as much volume there as possible. My Revlon XL Paddle Brush is great for brushing out with one hand while I’m blow drying with the other. For this specific look, (Half Up Top-Knot) I use my Revlon Extra Thick Elastic Hair Bands to put half of my hair up into a little bun on my head. I really love these elastics because they are really strong, and I won’t worry about them breaking on me. They also keep my hair very secure with less damage when I remove them.
I had a 1-1/4 inch Revlon Curling Iron for many years, which I use to create loose waves with. However, this Revlon Long Lasting Medium Curls Curling Iron, which is about a 1 inch is the perfect size for glam holiday curls. I also like the curling irons because I can use them two ways. I can either use it as a wand like I am here, or you can also use it as a standard clamp curling iron. Another great bonus is that you can adjust the heat, which is especially great when curling hair extensions.

I love the soft curls in your hair! I wish I could get something similar in mine. I’ve tried so many different tools, my hair is just so naturally straight that nothing tends to hold it. I do love my Revlon brush similar to this one, though!
